Auctioneers since 1900
Auctioneering has been in the Macleod family for at least 110 years, beginning with Donald Macleod, the great grandfather of current principal Angus Macleod, who owned and operated a stock and station agency in the Riverina township of Narrandera.
With such a large range of areas covered, there is nothing that we as auctioneers have not sold, from oyster leases in the south through to waterfront property on Sydney Harbour.Read the full family story

Donald Macleod
Owned and operated a stock and station agency in Narrandera, and was regarded as one of the premier auctioneers in livestock, property and chattels.

Arch Macleod
A successful pastoralist who later advised AML&F, one of the prominent livestock agencies.
Father
Ian Macleod
Thrown the gavel one day at the yards, Ian restarted the family legacy and became one of the Riverina’s premier auctioneers, settling in Hay, with over 50 years in the agency game.
Today
Angus & Hugh Macleod
Learnt their trade under their father’s tutelage and formed Macleod Auctioneers.
